As a Technical Gameplay Engineer on Covenant, a newly announced title from the up-and-coming studio Legion, I worked closely with cross-disciplinary teams to develop innovative gameplay systems that seamlessly merged narrative and mechanics. My contributions were centered on crafting engaging player experiences and elevating the overall quality of this ambitious and highly anticipated project.

  • Partnered with design teams to conceptualize and refine narrative-driven gameplay systems and mechanics, enhancing player immersion and storytelling.

  • Designed and implemented a diverse range of gameplay features, including weapons, spells, interactive inventory systems, and core mechanics, to enhance player agency and deliver a more immersive experience.

  • Researched and prototyped tools that streamlined the integration of storytelling elements with gameplay, ensuring a cohesive experience.

  • Recorded and implemented numerous in-engine cutscenes for marketing and trailers, showcasing the game’s immersive narrative and unique mechanics.
